Der Film "Die Delegation" von Rainer Erler, war seit Jahren nicht mehr im TV-Programm. Entstanden ist dieser spannende Film 1969/70 mit Walter Kohut in der Hauptrolle. "Die Delegation" wurde mit der Goldenen Kamera 1971 und dem Prädikat "Kultfilm" ausgezeichnet.
Dieser Film ist wahr. Zum besseren Verkauf wurder der Film damals in das Untergenre des futuristischen "Science-Thrillers" eingeordet. Filme dieser Art erwiesen sich oft als visionär und immer als zivilisationskritisch. Für "Die Delegation" wurde Erler mit der Goldenen Kamera ausgezeichnet.

Das "Lexikon des Internationalen Films" schreibt:
"Ein interessanter, unterhaltsamer Fernsehfilm, der zum Thema Ufos selbst keine Stellung bezieht, umso wirkungsvoller jedoch einen verstörenden Schwebezustand heraufbeschwört."
Und in der "Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung" meinte Michael Schwarze: "Erler bebildert (...) Ängste (...), holt sie aus dem Bereich des Unbewussten. Filme wie diese nützen die genuinen Möglichkeiten der Kunst, Mögliches so präzise auszumalen, dass es für Menschen den Charakter des Wirklichen erhält. Sozusagen spielerisch können Zuschauer so Situationen antizipieren, Entscheidungen simulieren, die ihnen die Wirklichkeit später einmal abverlangen mag.
Wie gesagt, die Story basiert auf einer wahren Begebenheit. Auch wenn es unglaublich klingt.

The first files will be made available in Spring 2008 and the process is expected to take three years.
The MoD has received reports of over 10,000 UFO sightings since the UFO project was set up in 1950.
